Our Summer Camps are going virtual!
Home for the Future
Frank Lloyd Wright’s forward-thinking designs for houses shaped the course of architecture in the 20th Century. Inspired by Wright’s example, explore the concept of home from your own home in this week-long virtual summer camp. Take on the role of architect as you design your own home for the future. From green design and smart technologies to innovative new materials, we’ll explore how architects are designing tomorrow’s homes. Each day of camp will involve live design sessions with our educators, class discussions and brainstorming, virtual field trips of Frank Lloyd Wright Trust sites, and independent project time.
- Virtual instruction Monday through Thursday from 9 – 10:30 am
- Virtual instruction Friday 2:30 – 4 pm
Campers will receive a daily design challenge to be completed independently
- Camp sizes will be capped at 20 participants
- While we highly encourage campers to attend all live Zoom sessions, each day’s camp session will be recorded and accessible for the duration of camp.
