The 700 block of William Street in River Forest was advertised as “one of the nicest residence streets in River Forest” with house prices starting at $6,000. The 25 homes originally built along the tree-lined street from 1913-1916 present Prairie Style elements, but the original architect remains unknown. Join us for a special program on Sunday, May 17 as we consider the question of their architectural origin.
At the River Forest Tennis Club, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1906, information about the block will be presented. Program details to follow.
